This Privacy Policy explains how CalculatorFlash and VitaFem Analytics ("we", "us") handle information when you use https://vitafem.calculatorflash.com/. It is written to meet common transparency expectations for search engines and for Google AdSense, including disclosure of cookies and advertising partners.
1. Who we are
This site is VitaFem Analytics, hosted as a subdomain of CalculatorFlash at https://vitafem.calculatorflash.com/. Parent site: https://calculatorflash.com/. Contact: hello@calculatorflash.com.
2. Health calculator inputs (not uploaded by us)
Dates, cycle length, height and weight that you type are processed in your browser with JavaScript to produce on-screen results. We do not operate a user account system and we do not collect those calculator fields on a VitaFem server as part of the tool. Clearing the page or browser storage discards on-screen values. Do not enter information you are not comfortable processing locally on your device.
3. Information we may process
- Cookie consent choice stored in your browser (localStorage) so we can remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies.
- Contact messages you choose to send by email. Email is transmitted via your own mail provider when you use the contact form’s mailto option.
- Server logs of your host, content delivery network or analytics provider, if you later connect this file to hosting - typically IP address, browser type, referring URL and timestamps. Configure your host's retention to the minimum needed.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential: we store your cookie preference locally. This is not used for advertising.
Non-essential (only if you accept): this site is prepared to show Google AdSense advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info/choices.
Learn how Google uses data: Google Advertising Technologies and Google Privacy Policy.
5. Google AdSense
If AdSense is enabled after you consent, Google may set cookies such as the DoubleClick cookie and collect request data (IP address, user agent, and on-page ad interaction) to measure and serve ads. We do not control Google's independently operated systems. Invalid click activity (clicking your own ads) is prohibited. Publisher ads.txt for this property should be maintained at https://calculatorflash.com/ads.txt (root domain), which Google uses for subdomain inventory including vitafem.calculatorflash.com.
European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: Google requires a certified consent management platform (CMP) that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework for personalised ads. A simple banner is not a substitute for a certified CMP in those regions. Enable Funding Choices or another Google-certified CMP before serving personalised ads there.
6. Other third parties loaded by this page
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) to display typography.
- cdnjs (Font Awesome icons).
- jsDelivr (Tailwind CSS browser build).
- Google AdSense and related Google domains if advertising is enabled.
Those providers have their own privacy policies. Loading third-party scripts may allow those providers to see your IP address and referrer.
7. Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies)
Legitimate interests for operating a static educational site and remembering cookie choice; consent for non-essential advertising cookies; contract or legitimate interests for answering email you send us.
8. Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Sexual content involving minors is prohibited.
9. Retention, security and international transfers
We do not keep a VitaFem database of calculator entries. Email you send is retained as needed to respond. Third parties may process data in the United States or other countries. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. For requests, email us. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
11. Changes
We will update the “Last updated” date when this policy changes. Continued use after an update means you should read the new text.
